The view bar contains saved views in their saved order. Use + to choose a layout, name it, and set its field mappings. View settings changes an existing layout. You can save several views of the same type, each with its own filters and sorting. Opening or cancelling the editor creates nothing.

Use every view on a touch screen#

Table, Board, Calendar, Timeline, Flow, Gallery, List, Chart, Form, and Workload remain available on iPhone and iPad. The phone toolbar gives the saved-view strip its own scrollable row, with New record and sheet tools visible below. Use View settings to configure the layout. Scroll a wide table, timeline, or diagram inside its working area; it does not require moving the whole page sideways.

Use visible card group controls in Board and Flow, or open a record to edit the same stage or date fields. Touch editing does not depend on desktop drag gestures. Calendar keeps explicit Month, Week, and Agenda choices: choose Agenda for a chronological list or keep the calendar grid and scroll its surface. Filters, sorting, grouping, visible fields, and record permissions still apply.

Adjust a table without dragging#

Open Appearance in Table. Choose Comfortable or Compact row density, then select the column to adjust. Narrow, Standard, and Wide presets provide quick widths; Width in pixels lets you enter a specific size. Move left and Move right reorder a column without a drag gesture. Choose Done when finished.

Column widths and order are saved with the sheet and carry across devices. The name column stays first and adapts on phones to leave space for other fields; its saved width applies on larger screens. Resizing a window does not overwrite saved widths or reorder fields. Changing shared widths or order requires editing access.

Read workload honestly#

Workload places a record in the period containing its configured date; it does not spread effort across a date range. Without an effort field, load is record count. Duration effort is displayed in hours. Set a positive per-person capacity to highlight overload. Unassigned work, undated work, and missing estimates are visible separately so they do not masquerade as available capacity.

Edit through the view#

Moving a Board or Flow card updates its mapped field. Moving calendar entries preserves their duration; timeline resizing changes dates. All edits still obey permissions and rules. An unavailable layout usually needs a compatible field. A disappeared record may simply fall outside the current filters.
