Build a dashboard around a question
Open Dashboards, choose New dashboard, and describe what you need or configure the blocks manually. Inspect the visual preview before enabling it. Metrics, charts, goals, tables, agendas, and text can share a layout.
Follow a number to its records
A dashboard is a way into the underlying work. Use record drilldowns to understand a metric or chart. Keep filters and scope aligned with the question so a visual does not imply it represents more data than it does.
Create a document layout
Open Documents to add manual or AI-assisted layouts. Connect record fields, repeating tables, calculations, and reusable sections. Billing and invoices templates include quote and invoice layouts; preview resolved values before finalizing.
Preserve the result
Finalization saves the resolved content and the actual PDF. Revisions retain earlier versions. These are operational documents: accounting posting, payment collection, tax compliance, and legal signatures are outside the current product.
